After two years I'm happy announce that Nerdcore For Life is finally complete! Not only is the movie done our world premiere is set. Details about the first screening coming soon. November 4th, 2007. Nerdcore and the documentary were both featured in a nice and very thorough article in today's Boston Globe. Click here to read the web version of the story. September 8th, 2007. Filming is finally totally complete and post-production is well underway. Number of hours of footage shot during production: 100+. August 8th, 2007. More amazing press for the film: Today the documentary was included in an article about mc chris and the world of Nerdcore that ran in the Sunday edition of the New York Times. The on-line version of the piece can be found here. July 30th, 2007. Today the NC4L team returned from the San Diego Comicon after filming and helping to organize a pair of Nerdcore concerts held at Capcom Entertainment's booth. This is almost unbelievable but today Nursehella, Ytcracker, Jesse Dangerously and myself all appeared on Canada's MTV Live to discuss Nerdcore and to promote the film. Click here for photos and the full story. July 2nd, 2007. The July/August issue of the Spanish magazine Calle 20 just printed a huge piece on Nerdcore and the documentary. Click here for links, pics and a translation. June 9th, 2007. Youtube selected another one of our videos to be a featured clip. This time it's MC Router's music video, Buggin' Out! Thanks to this latest feature the collective view count for all of our clips posted on youtube has passed the ONE MILLION mark. May 22nd, 2007. Editing has begun and much to the benefit of the film, post-production is being handled by a fantastic team of editors from the Chicago-based Post-house, Storyboard Productions. April 14th, 2007. Great news today. This afternoon rapper and nerdcore superstar mc chris sat down with filmmaker Jaylyn Coffin at The Florida Supercon to do an interview for the documentary. Later Jaylyn was also able to get some footage of mc chris' performance in Palm Beach. |
